Hi David,

I want to know what you mean by “the Universe wants more for you than you want for yourself”. This confuses me. If it’s true, why have I not been able to create a business that grows year over year? I TRULY desire it!

Hi Amanda and thanks for this GREAT question!

Here’s the truth:

The Universe can bring something to your front door, but you have to open the door.

If you’re not opening the door, you are in resistance to something.

Think of resistance as keeping the door closed to the good that you desire.

Here’s the really cool thing… the door represents our ability to choose.

We could choose to keep the door closed, or we could choose to open the door.

But if we keep that door closed, it doesn’t matter what’s on the other side of it.

It can’t get to us.

The Universe itself
doesn’t hold anything back.

It will bring you what you tell it to bring you…
but you must open the door.

So ask yourself the following questions:

What am I resisting being, doing or having?

Is there a hard conversation I’m avoiding?

Is there an opportunity I’ve been putting off because it’s uncomfortable?

Is there something I know I should be doing, but I’ve been procrastinating rather than getting it done?

Is there something I have been holding on to that I know I need to let go of?

Stepping out of resistance will allow you to open the door to your desires…Every. Single. Time.
