This week’s question from my portal “The Neagle Code: Directions for Life” comes from Sally.
Hi David,
How can I overcome procrastination, disorder, and clutter?
Great question.
What you give your energy to, will grow.
So, if you’re focused on what you don’t want or what you don’t want to happen, like the procrastination, clutter and disorganization, you will notice that you will create more of the same.
The way to handle and overcome this is by first becoming aware that your thinking is causing the problem.
Procrastination, disorder, and clutter are actually caused by incorrect thinking.
Second, it’s more than just making a decision to get things done, because the disorder that you experience in your physical world is a result of the disorder that’s going on in the way that you think.
In other words, you have to retrain yourself to think in an orderly way, which will then bring you a sense of calm because you’re not worried about constantly being disorderly.
Understand that everything happens by cause and effect, but if you’re willing to step into being the cause, the effect will take care of itself.
It takes time. You have to really work on yourself to be able overcome procrastination, disorder, and clutter, but it can be done!
