This week’s question from our portal “Ask Us Anything” comes from Taylor.
My problem is, I believe success is easy and I know it’s simple, but I don’t believe it’s going to last. I’ve had such great success and it’s honestly been easy. But now I’m worried and fearful that it will stop. I question whether or not my belief can keep moving me forward. Can success be this easy forever? What does it take to maintain it? When will this luck run out?
Great question. So, here’s the issue…
One of the first things I teach people is that whenever you have one of these voices in your head that’s contradicting what you already have the ability to do, ask yourself:
“Whose voice is this?”
Whose voice is that in your head, telling you that your success will “run out”?
In my TEM (The Elite Mind) groups, we talk about three voices that are in our head:
- You (or your higher self, or God)
- All the other people you’ve had experiences with in your past, that are burned into your brain
- The voice of fear
Whenever you hear a voice that’s trying to have a conversation with you, or a voice that’s trying to contradict what you want to do—like giving you advice or warning you—that’s someone else’s voice from your past.
Ask yourself, “Whose voice is this?” Because it’s not your voice.
The voice of your higher self will never talk
you out of your own success in life.
It’s always someone else’s voice that does that.
The reason why success will last is because when you learn how to think based on the law of cause and effect, and you understand the laws of the universe, you’re making decisions and teaching yourself to think based on truth, not circumstances.
Most people go through life thinking, acting, and making decisions based on their circumstances.
So, the circumstances override the possibility in their mind. They make decisions based on the reality they’re currently experiencing right now—rather than based on their desire or vision of where they want to go.
When you break the habit of doing that, you can overcome any reality that you’re experiencing. It doesn’t matter what the problem is—you have the power to overcome it.
