This week’s question from my portal “The Neagle Code: Directions for Life” comes from someone who wishes to remain anonymous.
Hi David,
I would consider myself a hard worker…do I need to work 24/7 in order to experience the success I want?
Great question.
I firmly believe that we get to create our life exactly how we want it to be. If we’re not enjoying it, it’s our own fault.
There is absolutely no reason to work 24 hours a day 7 days a week, but what you do need to do is make sure when you ARE working, you’re 100% focused on the enjoyment of the process of your work because that will make all the difference in the world.
Why do you have this intense pressure to get to this certain point in your business?
Is it fear driven or desire driven.
My guess is that it’s fear driven.
And here is the truth…
There’s nothing that magically changes when you hit a goal because you still have to keep growing. It’s not like, “Oh, I got there,” and everything changes. It doesn’t. The only thing that changes is the knowledge of your ability to do what needs to be done.
Most people look at success as a destination, and they want to “just get there”…but success is a journey that never stops.
In my mind, you might as well enjoy the hell out of the journey!
P.S. Whenever you’re ready… here are 3 ways I can help you grow YOUR business:
