I had a realization that my vision of wealth is being someone I’m not and don’t want to be. I believe wealthy women are beautiful, sexy, manipulative and prissy – that it has to do with personality. How do I get past that?
That’s the same issue. Where did that idea come from? Whose voice is that in your head that wealthy people are like that?
That typical conversation that all middle-class people grew up with creates a belief system where they literally develop almost a hate for where they believe wealth comes from. But it has absolutely nothing to do with wealth.
Money is an idea created for the exchange of value, not for an exchange of how you look or who you’re being or what clothes you wear. People in the ghetto exchange money for value just like billionaires. It’s the same money.
Every dollar you will ever earn is currently in the hands of another person. And it’s the same way for every person on this planet. There is nobody that has this realization any different. Not one person. Every person who’s going to earn money from today forward, that money is already in the hands of somebody else.
The cause and effect of how money moves from one person to another is one thing: sales. Sales is the only thing that moves money. Even if I loan you $20, that’s a sale – an exchange of value based on a request or a perception of that value. That’s all that it is.
The amount of money a person has is by direct or indirect communication of that value. Because people will spend money on all the negative things in life, all the things in the middle that don’t matter at all, or all the most expensive things in the world. It doesn’t matter what it is. What matters is that the person holding the value communicates effectively to the person who wants your value, and you exchange money for it. That’s it. It has nothing to do with who you are as a person or what you look like or your past beliefs.
This story you created as a child is just a story you created to make sense of the world you observed. If you live by that story, you will always stay broke. The story has no truth in it as far as cause and effect. That’s why I explained what I just explained. You can create any story you want and immediately step into it as the truth, and that’s what you will create in your life.
Wealth is here to expand your life. Everybody deserves all the wealth they could desire and use in their life to expand whatever their dream or purpose is. So it’s not connected to something that happened in your past or somebody else’s belief system – this is about your deserveability.
